The album that defined a generation of alternative rock, reissued as a KiTalbum.

Released on April 8, 1997, Third Eye Blind introduced the San Francisco band to the world with a debut that balanced massive hooks with raw, confessional songwriting. Powered by hits like “Semi-Charmed Life,” “Jumper,” “How’s It Going to Be,” and “Graduate,” the album spent over 100 weeks on the Billboard 200 and went 6× Platinum in the U.S., becoming one of the most iconic records of the late ’90s alternative rock wave.

Thematically, the album didn’t shy away from darkness, instead tackling subjects like addiction, suicide, and trauma with lyrical nuance and unexpected optimism. Frontman Stephan Jenkins once described the record as being about “loss,” but it’s equally about resilience, desire, and the messiness of youth.  From the melodic guitarwork of Kevin Cadogan to the vulnerable lyrics and earworm choruses, Third Eye Blind carved out a space between angst and euphoria.

Now, this breakthrough debut is reborn as a KiTalbum, an alt-rock landmark reimagined and includes an exclusive behind the scenes walking tour in San Francisco by Stephan Jenkins recorded in 2025!
