    ** 50 COPIES ONLY **

“Lo-fi noise-rock for the emotionally fried” Dork

“A river of sludge oozing out of your speakers” Clash

“A heady mix of shoegaze, indie rock and hardcore that combines to incredible effect” Rolling Stone UK

“A succinct showcase of the band’s grunge and shoegaze talents” So Young

    “Hazy dream pop” Brooklyn Vegan

One of their most sonically ambitious offerings to date, backflip touches both ends of their sonic spectrum, experimenting with oscillating synths, brushing up against hushed vocals, rhythmic acoustic guitar and bursts of distorted noise. Now based in their adopted hometown of Manchester, the trio’s lo-fi, introspective yet hardcore sound has already garnered acclaim throughout the press community (NME, Stereogum, So Young, Dork, Clash, The Line Of Best Fit, Rolling Stone UK, Brooklyn Vegan), as well as countless spins on the BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music (Steve Lamacq, Deb Grant, Nathan Shepherd) and Radio X (John Kennedy) airwaves, with their stature growing through every subsequent release.

    Campaign Highlights:
Press Support: Strong tastemaker backing from Stereogum, Rolling Stone UK, So Young, Dork, Clash, DIY, and Brooklyn Vegan.
Radio Support: ‘pieces’ premiered on BBC 6M New Music Fix. Early champions include Steve Lamacq (BBC6Music), Daniel P Carter (BBC R1), and John Kennedy (Radio X).

Live & Touring: Extensive May headline tour including London (Moth Club), Bristol (Rough Trade), and Manchester (Rat and Pigeon), plus a confirmed slot at The Great Escape.
Previous Support: Support slots with Westside Cowboy, Bdrmm, Cryogeyser, Upchuck, and Man/Woman/Chainsaw. Recently sold out The Lexington in December 2025.

Streaming & Physical: Previous track ‘bitebitebite’ has reached 144k streams; the band previously sold out a 200-copy vinyl run for their debut EP.
